The life of an order: from checkout to dispatch

Every line on the manifest and on each item page is one box of vials, priced in US dollars. Add boxes to the cart from either place. The cart lives in your own browser until you check out, so nothing is set aside for you at this stage.

If a purchase needs sign-off first, use Print quote in the cart. The sheet carries the date, a reference, each line with its box price and line total, and the subtotal, with space for a requester and an approver. A quote records the cart on the day it was printed. It is not a binding offer: prices are fixed when the order is placed.

Checkout needs a buyer account. Sign in, or open one with a name, an email address and a password. The checkout sheet then asks for:

• a recipient name, plus a lab or company name if you want one;
• a US street address, with its own line for a suite, unit or building;
• the city, a two-letter state code and the ZIP code;
• a phone number for the carrier, which is optional.

Shipping is calculated from the cart and shown in the order summary before you commit. Choose USDT, USDC or BTC as the payment method, then tick the box that confirms the order is for in-vitro laboratory research under the research-use terms. Pressing Place order fixes the prices and the shipping charge. You land on the order page, and its order number is the reference for every message that follows.

What the order page shows

The Payment due panel lists the amount to send, the time by which the payment must arrive, and one wallet address for each network the desk accepts. Each address is labelled with its asset and its network, and has its own copy button.

Sending the transfer

Send the exact amount shown, in the asset you chose, on the network printed beside the address. Funds sent on another network cannot be recovered, and a crypto transfer cannot be reversed once it is sent. Read the asset, the network and the address back before you confirm the transfer in your wallet.

Telling the desk

Once the transfer is on its way, email the transaction hash to the desk and quote the order number. A screenshot of the transfer helps. The order page has a mail link with the subject line filled in, so the message lands against the right order. The payment policy has the full terms.

The desk matches the transfer to the order using the transaction hash you sent. When it matches, the Payment line at the top of the order page updates.

This is the step that triggers shipping. Placing an order does not start dispatch, and neither does a printed quote. A confirmed payment is the only trigger.

After confirmation the order is packed and handed to the carrier. The Dispatch section of the order page then shows the carrier and a tracking number, with a Track parcel link when the carrier provides one. Until that point it reads Not dispatched yet. An order waits for its payment, but not indefinitely. If no payment is confirmed within 72 hours of the order being placed, the desk cancels it. The pay-by time on the order page is shown in US Eastern time, so there is no need to work it out.

To buy the same lines after a cancellation, add them to the cart again and place a new order. The new order is priced at the rates listed on the day you place it.

Keeping inside the window

Send the payment soon after placing the order rather than close to the deadline, and email the transaction hash as soon as the transfer is sent. The desk can only match a payment it knows about.
