Working the manifest: filter, sort and add lines in one sheet

Summary

The manifest is every item on the desk in one table. Type part of a name or pick a section to narrow it, sort on any column, set the number of boxes on a line and press Add. Lines land in the cart without leaving the sheet; the cart then prints a dated quote or goes to checkout.

What the sheet shows

Each row of the manifest is one item: the compound, the fill of one vial, the vial count, the box contents, the box price and the mg rate. A row is always one box size; the same compound in another fill is a row of its own, and its stock sheet lines the fills up.

Narrowing the sheet

  • Filter lines: type any part of a name, such as TB-500 or 10mg. The sheet narrows as you type.
  • Sections: the chips above the table keep one section only; All sections brings every row back.
  • The count under the controls reads Showing X of Y lines, so you can see how much the filter removed.

Filters and sorting work together: pick a section, then sort it by price per mg, and the cheapest material in that section rises to the top.

Sorting without mixing units

Amounts in milligrams, International Units and millilitres cannot be ranked against each other. When you sort by an amount or by price per mg, the manifest keeps the units in groups (milligram rows first, then IU rows, then mL rows) and sorts within each group. Rows with no figure for the column sink to the bottom whichever way the sort runs.

Box price and vial count are plain numbers in every row, so those two columns sort across the whole sheet.

Adding lines

  1. Type the box count in the field beside the line. It starts at the item's minimum, usually one.
  2. Press Add. The button reads Added once the line is in the cart; change the number and Add again to top it up.
  3. Repeat for every line you need, then open the cart.

A row that shows See item instead of a box field has more than one option; open its item page to choose. From the cart, Print quote produces a dated sheet for sign-off, and checkout places the order. The life of an order follows it from there.
